Description: Learn to sketch and capture the beauty of shells in this summer watercolor class! We will draw inspiration from the various shapes, sizes, and colors of shells. This beginner-friendly class will focus on capturing the beauty of these found objects in small life-inspired watercolor studies.
Students are encouraged to bring their favorite shells that they have collected as we discuss how to plan, sketch, and execute an illustrative style of watercolor sketching. We will discuss specific watercolor techniques for capturing shell details, color matching, and other tools and mediums that can help us capture detail.
