For the past 3 years, my kids’ (boy 6 yo, girl 8 yo) FAVORITE and most requested summer activity is Making Waves Summer camps. Katie and Amanda have done an incredible job designing a program that is fun, creative, AND educational! We can’t wait for this summer!!

When’s school’s out, camp is IN at the studio! We offer several summer camp options, as well as day-off and holiday break camps throughout the school year.

Summer Camps: For kids ages 4-10 (+ sometimes tweens)
We offer drop-off style half-day camps on Monday-Thursday throughout July and August. Every week has a different fun theme, like Under the Sea, Sweet Treats, Lego Lovers, or Art + Nature. We explore a variety of techniques and media, including drawing, painting, collage, clay, and more. During all of our camps, we use our creativity and the week’s theme to focus on idea development, creative choice making, self-expression, skill building, and making new friends.

School Break Camps: for kids ages 4-8
We offer 3-day (usually Monday - Wednesday) drop-off style camps during Christmas Break, February Break and Spring Break. Each week has a different fun theme, like Rainforest or Spring Things!
We explore a variety of techniques and media, including drawing, painting, collage, clay, and more.

Day Off Camps: for kids ages 4-8
We offer drop-off style camps on select days that many area schools are closed. Past day-off camps have been held on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the day after Thanksgiving, Indigenous People’s Day and Veteran’s Day. We’ll explore a variety of techniques and media, including drawing, painting, collage, clay, and more.

Making Waves Art Studio is my girls’ favorite summer camp. The amount of art projects they create in 4 days is truly amazing and always holds their interest. They can’t wait to come back for more every year!
