Creativity is essential at every age, and our private art parties for adults are the perfect way to gather and connect with your friends, family, or coworkers. Birthday celebrations, book club meetings, corporate parties - we do it all, and we’d love to host you.

BUILD A PARTY HERE!
We know adults need creative outlets, but what you don’t need is the hassle of figuring out what to make, getting it set up, and cleaning up afterwards. We’ll take care of all that while you have fun with your people, get hands-on with a creative project, and leave with a finished piece that you’ll be proud to show off. Follow the steps below to get your art party planned and booked!
Step 1: Gather Your Crew
Below are details on how our parties work and pricing options to share with your group.
Party Details
We can host your party in our Parkside art studio, or we can bring the party to your home, office, or other offsite location.
Parties are 1.5 hours long and include an art instructor and project set up and clean up. For parties outside the studio, we’ll also bring tablecloths to keep your space clean.

Party fee is due at the time of booking. We cannot provide refunds under any circumstances.
Pricing
For a party with 8-12 guests: $52/participant
For a party with 13-16 guests: $48/participant

Step 2: Choose a project
Choose from our selection of project options, specifically designed to be fun for all skill levels.
Citrus Print Tea Towels: Use real citrus fruits to print organic shapes and patterns directly onto one large, or two small, cotton tea towels. Create a beautiful (and functional!) one of a kind piece to use in your kitchen or dining room.
Abstract Acrylic Paintings: With instructor guidance, learn how to use a variety of tools and techniques to create your own abstract painting. Get inspired by color and intuitive mark-making and bring your artistic vision to life.
Marbled Coasters: Learn the surprisingly simple art of marbling and design a set of two marbled coasters. These make wonderful gifts (but we won’t tell if you decide to keep them for yourself!)
Pressed Flower Lantern: Design and create a gorgeous lantern using pressed dried flowers. Add a candle for a romantic glow, or use a string of fairy lights to create a kid-friendly enchanted garden mood.
Step 3: Propose a Date and Time
Email us at katie@makingwavesartstudio.com to with the date(s) and time you have in mind and the number of party guests. We’ll get back to you within 48 hours to confirm availability and complete the booking process.
